They are calling through the flow,
I can hear them beckoning;
wishing to play and interact,
to see you smile with life unfolding.
The wild places are calling deep in your soul
teasing with fear and desire;
hoping that you will rise up,
jump to dance with the souls of rock and water.
Wild places are calling for somebody to lead
through wild lands and screaming silences.
My soul rises just short of tears
for not exploring their alchemy and expanse.
Wild places are calling for someone to wander,
ponder and watch the wind;
to explore their huge comforting silent spaces
and find yourself in their abundance of less.
